The MG Bagpipe Bag Seasoning is a great way to ensure your hide bag is airtight and efficient. This seasoning requires microwaving to achieve the proper viscosity. Approximately 1:00 to 1:30 heating times, do not allow it to boil.
This seasoning works well for the following bags:
- Sheepskin
- Goatskin
- Cowhide
- Elkhide
Never use bag seasoning for a synthetic or synthetic hybrid bag!

MG Seasoning
I've tried Airtight, Robertsons, and MG. I've always come back to MG. It gets the job done and keeps my sheepskin bag airtight and drier than the other two brands. MG seasoning is very consistent in how it's made and I've never been disappointed at all. I also feel like it doesn't prematurely wear out the skin either.

BETTER THAN AIRTIGHT!
Have used Airtight for years, but could not get a new bag to be as air tight as I would like. Rinsed the Sheepskin with warm water to remove some of the Airtight and heated up some MG Seasoning and the bag is perfect. Thanks MG!!

Better than Airtight
While it may seem, on the surface, that this product and Airtight are the same, that's not the case. While they both do make your bag airtight, I've noticed the MG seasoning keeps the leather fresher for longer, and I have also noticed that bags seasoned with MG handle moisture better and more consistently. MG also seems to be more consistent bottle to bottle, which is nice. I'm a convert!

MG Pipe Bag Seasoning
I recently upgraded to a sheepskin pipe bag. I had trouble getting the bag to seal. One application of MG Pipe Bag Seasoning and my pipe bag held air solidly.
