The Blackwood gives great sound and the Chanter is comfortable to work with. Highly recommend.

    Chanter

This was my first chanter so I have nothing to compare it to. That said, shipment and service was fast and efficient. The chanter itself works as advertised. Would definitely feel comfortable ordering any product from JHiggins and will no doubt be a repeat customer.

    Worth waiting for.

While this is my first chanter, from being in the manufacturing field I say it's very well made. The sound quality, and fit and function was worth the wait. Both J Higgins and McCallum Bagpipes in Scotland were extremely helpful in answering all questions I posed to them. It was well packed and arrived on time. I plan on making more purchases from both establishments in the future.
