Perfect product, received sooner than expected.

Great sporran strap. Textured finish outside, smooth inside. Sizing guide worked for me, although if you’re in doubt, go larger. Your local cobbler/shoe repair business can trim to fit. I’m going to order a couple more, black and brown, for a friend’s birthday gift.

    sporran strap

My mistake. I ordered strap too short. Reordered larger size. Received telephone call that new strap was shipped. Fast service. Nothing wrong with strap, just too short.

Ordering was easy. The price can't be beat. The quality is top shelf. And delivery was fast. I'm quite happy with the whole experience, and I have a new belt for my day sporran.

    Best Daywear Choice

Posted by Lachlan on 28th Mar 2018

I have been wearing a leather sporran strap for quite a few years. I never wear a chain strap for daywear because it can damage the kilt, which the leather strap does not. When I go to games I always wear a kilt when I drive, and it is much more convenient and comfortable to slide the kilt onto your hip. I highly recommend the leather strap for all but the most formal occasions!

    Leather Sporran Strap

Posted by Robert Ward on 14th Jan 2016

While I use a leather and metal chain strap with my formal wear sporran, I prefer a plain leather strap for use with my day-wear sporran and my military-style horsehair sporran. My feeling is that the plain leather strap not only looks more appropriate in those applications, but also is less likely to cause abrasion to the fabric of the kilt.
