Custom Bag Cover--this was my first order/experience with J. Higgins. Both the finished product and the customer service were perfect. The Bag Cover is beautiful, with good quality fabric and workmanship. The customer service was amazing--questions answered by knowledgeable and courteous employees. Delivery was as promised. Will definitely order from J. Higgins again.

What impressed me as much as the final flawless product was the diligence John used to make sure I got exactly what I wanted...to match a new small pipes bag with my highland bag. Without an order commitment, he sent samples of different shades and styles of tartan to compare. Delivery was as predicted despite having to send to Scotland for the material. Service and product are five stars. Highly recommended.

I am a loyal customer for nearly 20 years and the fact that I now have another beautiful product from Mr Higgins and Company should not come as a shock to anyone! I ordered a custom cover for my Gibson Fireside smallpipes in County Antrim (Northeastern Ireland) tartan, my mother’s ancestoral homeland. Of course, the wait time was minimal, the quality and workmanship was top-notch and the fit was fabulous! I am inspired to play such a gloriously decorated instrument.

I’m very happy with these covers, I’ve bought two now. Nice weight, holes matched perfect and love the zipper. I had the patch put on the side and it could be a bit bigger. Overall I love it. Rennet that tartans can be different from mill to mill.

My great grandfather was a highland bagpiper, and I had recently acquired his olde, orange calalin-mounted RG Hardies from some of my family living over in California. I have no photographs of my grandfather or his pipes, but I did have a description of what his bagpipes looked like while he played them back in the 1950s and 60s. And with John's help here, I have recreated my grandfather's very set as best as I could. The custom tartan cover of it was made in my family's tartan, the Colquhoun~ This has completed this set of pipes to honour my grandfather, my family, and our proud heritage! Great bag cover. Quality is excellent and fits my medium Bannaytne bag perfectly. Arrived sooner than expected. Very pleased with my purchase. Great job to John and his staff for their outstanding customer service.

My bag cover arrived well ahead of schedule and fit my Bannatyne medium bag well, if perhaps a little large. The tartan looks great and feels comfortable, and the Dycem patch is sewn on thoroughly with strong stitch. I think it was partly my mistake to order metallic silver fringe; it feels fairly cheap and hopefully will not look dirty after a while. It does look okay but in retrospect I wish the custom bag menu had an option to ask for suggestions. Next time I will likely contact J. Higgins ahead of time and ask for suggestions regarding what fringe to order. Nonetheless, I plan to use J. Higgins regularly for my piping needs!

Came out better than I expected. Great fit!

The bag cover has a little extra room in case I were to get a bigger bag, which is great. I could not quite tell from online photos if the tartan on the kilt I ordered was primarily green or navy blue. My original order had blue trim, but J. Higgins was detailed enough to determine and suggest I go with the green instead. Turned out to be a fantastic suggestion. It looks great and I'm glad I didn't go with Navy trim. Thank you!

I ordered this bag with the MacDonald Modern tartan with black fringe, zipper and dyeem no skid patch to fit a small synthetic Bannatyne bag. The package came arrived faster than I expected and the quality is excellent!
